   You may book and purchase classes through the calendar below. By doing so, you agree to the Spirit First Martial Arts’ Rules, Regulations and Conditions of Membership as well as the Release and Indemnity Agreement.

   As a general rule, classes are on unless advised otherwise. The calendar below will always reflect current class times. Please check in your portal or on the calendar below prior to attending if you are not sure about current schedule and/or class cancellation.

   Active members can book for any class that their membership entitles them for via the calendar below or though your student portal.

   New members, please book your free beginner trial class below and we will be happy to discuss the full range of available program options with you after the class. Alternatively, you may consider our Karate Camp.

Class Description

Beginner

Beginner Classes

Open to all ages and offering dedicated children and adult beginner classes

Class type: In-person

Difficulty Level: Easy

Intensity Level: Low-Medium

Pre-requisite: No knowledge, no experience, just the willingness to learn

 

This is the place to start your karate journey and see your skills and abilities grow throughout the ranks.

Karate Camp 2

Karate Camp

Suitable for children aged 5-10 of all abilities and fitness level

Class type: In-person

Difficulty Level: Low

Intensity Level: Low-Medium

Pre-requisite: No knowledge, no experience, just the willingness to learn


This 10 week program is designed to improve coordination, build confidence and enhance focus while learning the fundamental techniques of traditional Shorin Ryu Karate and having fun.

Start any time and enjoy no other expenses or long term commitment, however keep in mind that places are limited!

Rank Classes

Open to all ages

Class type: In-person

Difficulty Level: Medium-High

Intensity Level: Medium-High

Pre-requisite: Classes are offered based on your rank level

 

Classes and material get progressively harder as you climb up the ranks. You will learn more details and deeper understanding of the material taught so far and be expected to up your performance in all aspects of the training.

Weapons Classes

Open to all ages upon invitation

Class type: In-person

Difficulty Level: Medium-High

Intensity Level: Low-Medium

Pre-requisite: Ability to comfortably perform basic stances, blocks, kicks and punches

 

Weapons training focuses on learning and understanding the traditional forms. Teaches the handling of various weapons and utilising them during practical application.

sparring

Sparring Classes

Open to all ages upon invitation

Class type: In-person

Difficulty Level: Medium

Intensity Level: Medium-High

Pre-requisite: Ability to comfortably perform basic blocks, kicks and punches. Must have all required sparring gear.

 

Medium to high intensity dynamic work out, offering student to test their reflexes and fighting abilities with drills and in the rink. Our sparring is zero to light contact to match the tournament rules.
